Missing from Care (MFCescc)

Description
[This course will take you about 1hr 40mins to complete.]

Children going missing from care is, unfortunately, all too common. While we hope this is something you never have to face as a foster carer, it’s important to be prepared. Your actions, alongside those of other responsible organisations (e.g., the local authority, police), play a crucial role in ensuring the child is safely found and well cared for upon their return. This course will guide you step by step on what to do, should you ever encounter this situation.

Disclaimer: This course provides general guidance and information. It does not replace your fostering service’s procedures. If there’s conflicting information, always follow your fostering service’s recommendations.
